Job summary

Scott Construction Group is seeking a safety-first, versatile Carpenter (Certified or Non-Certified) to join our team across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. You will perform a wide range of general carpentry, finishing carpentry, and deficiency-related work, including drywall repairs, taping, painting, tiling, trim installation, and other finishing tasks across various job sites.

A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this position.

Qualifications

  • At least five years of previous construction experience working on commercial, residential, or institutional.
  • Strong background with deficiency and finishing carpentry considered an asset.
  • Must be comfortable performing multiple different roles, including laborer duties, and tasks related to construction.
  • Willing and able to perform physically demanding work including the ability to lift to 50lbs
  • Able to use hand power tools
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with the ability to travel to various project sites on an as needed basis
  • Adherence and participation in the Scott Construction Health & Safety Program
  • Valid BC SiteReady, and Fall Protection ticket
  • High School diploma
  • Red Seal certification is not required

Summary

We are seeking a safety-first, versatile Carpenter (Certified or Non-Certified) to join our team across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. You will perform a wide range of general carpentry, finishing carpentry, and deficiency-related work, including drywall repairs, taping, painting, tiling, trim installation, and other finishing tasks across various job sites. A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this position.

This role is employed through CLAC, and membership will be required once hired.
