Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a construction worker for outdoor, on-site projects in Ontario. The role involves reading blueprints, laying out and building structural components, and installing finishes. Travel is required to various locations, with full-time hours in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.

  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
