Job summary

Khachi Design + Build in Oakville, Ontario, is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our on-site team. You will read blueprints, prepare layouts, and install wood and other materials for residential and commercial projects.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work at multiple construction sites with strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and drawings to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials including wood and metal.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roofs.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
