Job summary

PB Construction in Surrey, British Columbia, is seeking a skilled construction worker with 2–3 years of experience to join our on-site team. This role requires strong hands-on construction abilities and a commitment to safety and quality.

You will prepare layouts, measure and cut materials, install windows and doors, lay subfloors, and coordinate site tasks while supervising apprentices and a small crew. On-site travel and physical work are required.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation required.
• 2–3 years construction experience preferred.
• On-site construction experience in commercial/industrial settings is a plus.
• Ability to work safely in a noisy, dusty environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Schedule and coordinate work on sites and supervise apprentices.
• Survey locations and levels; maintain quality and safety on site.

RESPONSIBILITIES

TASKS
