Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking a Cabinet Technician / Trim Carpenter / Cabinet Installer to work on home remodeling projects in the Calgary NW area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Arrive at the jobsite on time, wearing a logo’d shirt and appropriate work clothing.
2. Follow instructions given by the project manager.
3. Follow Trustpoints on every job.
4. Keep work area clean and organized; clean up daily.
5. Communicate daily with the project manager about progress.
6. Work quickly and efficiently.

Skills:

1. Strong work ethic.
2. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions precisely.
3. Ability to drill for hinges, install doors and drawer fronts, and roll-out trays in cabinets.
4. Ability to safely operate power tools such as a table saw, band saw, router, planer, and nail gun.
5. Ability to work in Calgary NW and surrounding communities.
6. Professional and friendly interaction with customers.
7. Personal pride in delivering quality work on the first attempt.
8. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and no physical limitations for the job.
9. Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Preferred but not required Skills (training provided):

1. Experience in cabinet refacing.
2. Experience in cutting moldings.
3. Ability to install crown molding.
