Job summary

A childcare service provider is seeking a dedicated Home Child Care Provider to care for two children in a private household located in Toronto, ON. The position is full-time and permanent with a wage of $20.85 per hour for 30 hours a week. Responsibilities include supervising the children, preparing meals, and maintaining a safe environment. Candidates should have a minimum of 6 months of childcare experience and secondary school education. First Aid/CPR is an asset, and optional live-in accommodation is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months childcare experience required.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children in employer’s home.
• Change diapers, give bottles, bathe, and put down for rest periods.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks.
• Assist with daily routines including dressing and hygiene.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities.
• Escort children to and from playgroups or programs.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Perform light housekeeping related to childcare.
