Job summary

Next Youth Job is seeking an in-home caregiver in Toronto to assist a family with three children aged 8, 6, and 4. The role is permanent, full-time, and located in the employer’s home. Salary is CAD 20.85 per hour for 32 hours per week, with housework and childcare duties included.

The start date is as soon as possible, and a secondary school diploma is required. English knowledge is mandatory, and training is available for up to six months.

Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable in English.
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: less than 6 months; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
• Bathe, feed children
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Supervise and care for children
• Tend to emotional well-being of children
