Job summary

DAI FAMILY is seeking a Home Child Care Provider in North York, ON to join as a permanent full-time team member. You will care for one child, supervise the home, and perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.

The on-site role requires a secondary school diploma or equivalent, 1 to 7 months of experience, a clean criminal record, and reliable public transit access. Salary is $20.85 hourly for 30–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
• Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
• Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for one child.
• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the parents.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Instruct the child in personal hygiene and social development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Prepare the child for rest periods.
• Supervise and care for the child.
• Tend to the emotional well-being of the child.
