Job summary

Care & Company in Greater Victoria, BC, is hiring caregivers who live in Sooke, Metchosin, Colwood, or Langford. We provide in-home senior care on a casual, part-time basis with morning and evening shifts.

As a caregiver you will assist with daily personal care, meals, housekeeping, and companionship, while ensuring safety and dignity for clients at home.

Requirements include compassion, a Criminal Records Check, First Aid/CPR, valid BC driver’s license, and legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Willingness to provide a Criminal Record Check and references.
• First Aid or CPR Level C.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Legally approved documentation to work in Canada.
• Valid BC driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.

• Assist with showering, toileting, medication blister packs, exercise guidance, dressing, and tidying up.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the client.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.

Position: Caregiver
Employment: Casual / Part-Time
Schedule/Hours: Mornings 7:45 - 9:45 AM / Evenings 7:45 - 9:45 PM (Mon-Sun)

Compensation: $25-$26 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with showering, toileting, medication blister packs, exercise guidance, dressing, and tidying up.
