Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Oakville, Ontario, is hiring caregivers to deliver compassionate in-home care under the Happier Aging philosophy. You will provide meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and personal care to private clients in the Oakville and Burlington area, with flexible shifts including days, evenings and overnights.

Qualifications

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• At least 2 Covid-19 vaccines (proof required)
• Must be able to legally work in Ontario Canada
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required

Responsibilities

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship, personal care and support with ADL’s
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service the Oakville and Burlington Area
• Looking for a variety availability (days, evenings and overnights) however must be available at least 15 hours per week and 2 weekend days per month.
