Job summary

Home Instead is seeking compassionate Care Professionals in Vancouver to support aging adults in living safely and comfortably at home. This role offers flexible shifts, 24/7 support, and competitive pay. Responsibilities include providing companionship, assisting with housekeeping, and supporting individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia. French-speaking candidates are especially encouraged to apply as they enhance communication with our diverse client community. No previous experience is required; comprehensive paid training will be provided.

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Offer medication and appointment reminders
• Support individuals living with Alzheimer’s or dementia
• Deliver care with patience, empathy, and respect
• Communicate with clients and families in a warm, professional manner (French language skills are a strong asset)

What You’ll Need

• A kind heart and a passion for helping others
• The ability to provide care with dignity and respect
• A valid driver’s license and auto insurance (if driving clients)
• Ability to speak French is preferred and highly valued
• No previous experience required comprehensive paid training provided!
