General Duties

Child and Youth Care Workers (CYCW) support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with school and community staff. They may provide intensive support during crises and deliver programs on topics like bullying prevention, self-esteem, and social skills.

Minimum Requirements
  • Child and Youth Care Worker Diploma (3-year) or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of similar experience
  • Experience with autism and behavioral support preferred
  • Courses on autism understanding are desirable
  • First Aid certification is an asset
  • Experience with data-driven behavior analysis
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel
Compensation & Schedule

Hourly rate: $34.93 to $36.76

Full-time, 40 hours/week, approx. 41 weeks/year

Location: To be determined based on student needs

Start date: ASAP
