Job summary

ComForCare is seeking dedicated in-home caregivers to support seniors in North Edmonton, St. Albert, and surrounding communities. You will assist with daily activities, provide personal care, help with mobility and meals, and offer companionship to clients and families.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion to serve and help others live their best lives.
• Strong communication with clients, families, and care teams.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Class 5 driver's license for local travel.
• Experience as an in-home caregiver or in senior living settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities to promote independence at home.
• Provide personal care and mobility support.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Coordinate transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Offer companionship and respite support to families.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.


• Provide assistance with personal care.


• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.


• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.


• Properly manage household needs.


• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.


• Assist with client transportation to appointments.

What we’re looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.


• High school diploma or certification in HCA.


• Access to reliable transportation or reliable vehicle and valid Class 5 driver's license to travel anywhere in North Edmonton, St. Albert and surrounding communities.


• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.
