Job summary

Humber Polytechnic is seeking a Career and Work-Integrated Learning Advisor (FMCAD) to join the Faculty of Media, Creative Arts, and Design. This Appendix D contract role focuses on administrative support for WIL, liaising with faculty, employers, and students at North and Lakeshore Campuses.

The advisor will connect industry partners, guide Industry Liaisons, and help plan Professional Practice courses to prepare students for field experiences.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in career counseling, career development, or work-integrated learning.
• Experience with student advising and programming in the post-secondary sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for WIL initiatives and collaborate with faculty, employers, and stakeholders.
• Advise students on career journeys and assist in designing/delivering Professional Practice courses.
• Reach out to industry partners and support events connecting employers and students.
