Job summary

VPI Employment Services, a Mississauga-based provider of Employment Ontario programs, is seeking a Career Development and Support Counsellor. This permanent full-time role focuses on proactive post-employment support to help clients maintain employment, navigate workplace challenges, and advance their careers.

You will conduct regular client check-ins, offer career coaching, assess eligibility for financial supports, coordinate community referrals, and maintain accurate case notes in CRM systems

Qualifications

• Strong client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with case management and service planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive post-employment support and career coaching.
• Conduct regular client check-ins and real-time coaching.
• Identify and refer to community resources to support retention.
• Maintain accurate client records in CRM and internal portals.
• Stay informed on local labour market trends.
• Deliver services professionally, confidentially, and client-centered.
• Support performance targets and complete additional duties as required.
