Job summary

UBC Sauder School of Business is seeking a Career Programming Strategist to support undergraduate and graduate students in becoming career-ready. You will develop, deliver and evaluate career programs, advise on resumes, interviews, and job search strategies, and partner with the Hari B.

Varshney Business Career Centre and local employers. The role fosters student engagement across Sauder, supports internship and full-time placements, and promotes inclusive career development for a diverse

Qualifications

• Minimum of a undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• Minimum 3–4 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in higher education.
• Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with students, faculty and external partners.
• Experience with career development programming is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develops, delivers and evaluates career services and programming for students.
• Advices on career exploration, resumes, interviews and job search strategies.
• Builds relationships with business community and alumni for opportunities.
• Plans events, workshops and partnerships to enhance student engagement.
• Trains staff and volunteers to support career services delivery.
