Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Vancouver in Vancouver, BC is hiring a Caregiver to support residents with ADLs, memory care, and daily activities in a compassionate, respectful environment. You will follow individualized service plans, promote safety and dignity, and assist with dining and personal care.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid (or ability to obtain), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• CPR/First Aid training (or ability to obtain).
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
