Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Caregiver to provide hands-on support and build meaningful relationships with residents across memory care and senior living services.

You will assist with ADLs, follow care plans, promote safety and independence, and engage residents in daily activities while communicating with families and care leaders. The role emphasizes compassionate, reliable care and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Must have compassion and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with residents.
• Able to work as part of a care team and follow ISP.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Follow Individualized Service Plans and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• Create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss in Memory Care.
