Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Mississauga, ON is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide hands-on support with activities of daily living, follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP), and promote safety and independence. You will engage residents through conversation and daily activities, assist dining services, and communicate with families and care leaders.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid (or ability to obtain), and dependable, clear communication.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Excellent communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes to care plans.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
