Job summary

CBI Home Health in Calgary is seeking a Care Access Representative to coordinate scheduling for Personal Support Workers, Health Care Aides and Nurses in a busy contact center. You will manage chats, calls, intake and scheduling requests, ensuring continuity of care for clients and providers.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in customer service or scheduling, strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities, and is available to work full-time on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• At least 2 years of experience in Customer Service, Scheduling and/or Coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software; 35–45 wpm keyboarding.
• Strong verbal and written communication; excellent telephone etiquette.
• Problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills are essential.
• Knowledge of medical terminology or medical administration is an asset.
• French language skills are an asset.
• Previous healthcare scheduling experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently schedule direct care staff within a high-volume contact center.
• Meet and exceed KPIs for calls/chats per hour and scheduling accuracy.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, families, care providers, and funders.
• Update scheduling databases and care plans with current information.
• Adhere to Employment Standards, collective agreements and policies.
