Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager or designate, the Cardiology Technologist is a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The role involves performing a variety of non-invasive cardiology procedures and routine equipment maintenance. The technologist uses a personal computer and related software to perform database functions, including editing electrocardiograms, and managing cardiac records and clerical duties.

Qualifications

• Certified by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT);
• Graduate of a recognized diploma training program in Cardiology Technology;
• One (1) year recent, related experience;
• Eligible for membership with the Cardiology Technologist Association of British Columbia (CTABC);
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLSC), Level C.

An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
