Job summary

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a Full Time Business Systems Analyst to support six Cardiac Programs within Health Informatics – Acute Care. The role focuses on delivering business and systems analysis to improve electronic health records and clinical data capture across Fraser Health’s Cardiac programs.

You will collaborate with clinical teams and IT stakeholders to optimize electronic health information systems, translate requirements into specifications, and support Go-Live activities for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health information systems management or related field.
• 2–4 years of recent, relevant experience in business and systems analysis in a medium to large organization.
• Familiarity with clinical applications used in hospital settings.
• Experience with HL7 integration (e.g., BizTalk), FHIR, or DICOM.
• Proven ability to independently manage small-scale projects, ideally involving Meditech integration.
• Strong clinical stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of Fraser Health processes, downstream clinical applications, and end-to-end clinical and system workflows is an asset.
• Experience in various Cardiac programs is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive business and systems analysis services for the Cardiology Program.
• Support the implementation and optimization of electronic clinical solutions across Cardiac Diagnostics, Interventional Cardiology, Cardiac Rehab, Outpatient Services, and Cardiac Surgery.
• Participate in project implementations, system operations support, documentation, and mentoring of fellow analysts.
• Lead and support Go-Live activities for redevelopment and expansion projects at existing and new sites.
• Act as a liaison between clinical teams and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with IT best practices and change management principles.
• Translate business requirements into application specifications and design tailored system solutions.
• Integrate applications to ensure seamless functionality and enhance operational support for enterprise systems.
