Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of Practical Nursing Diploma Program.
• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Recent acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with telemetry and cardiac care preferred.
• Ability to organize care and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patient needs and provide autonomous nursing care.
• Establish therapeutic relationships and coordinate with the care team.
• Document observations and care provisions promptly.
