Job summary

Women's College Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Technologist for a temporary full-time replacement in the Cardiology department. The role supports Holter, stress testing, ECGs, and related procedures in a day-time, Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications include a Cardiac Technology diploma, CSCT registration in good standing, and BCLS. Up to 3 years in an outpatient setting is preferred. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Cardiac Technology required.
• CSCT registration in good standing required.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) is required.
• Up to 3 years’ experience in an academic outpatient environment preferred.
• Experience with advanced ECG and rhythm interpretation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or in a team in a women-centred environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs holter hookup and scanning, stress testing, and related cardiac procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient demographics and charts in electronic systems.
• Communicate with hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Prepare examination rooms, equipment, supplies, and consent forms.
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist with quality improvement projects.
