University Health Network is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse Educator to develop and lead education for the Cardiovascular Investigations Unit. You will design tailored staff education, mentor nurses, and collaborate with interprofessional teams to advance clinical practice and patient care.

The role requires a graduate degree in Nursing or Education, specialty certifications, BLS, and strong leadership with IT and collaboration skills in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and able to practice without restrictions.
• RNAO membership preferred.
• Membership in a related professional group preferred.
• Graduate degree in Nursing or Education or recognized equivalent is required.
• Theoretical and practical experience in adult education and related frameworks is required.
• Specialty-specific certification programs relevant to clinical areas are required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Previous Educator experience is an asset.
• At least three years of nursing experience in a relevant specialty preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work well in an interprofessional team.
• Ability to use information technology effectively.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
