Job summary

Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board seeks a Supervisor, Capital Reporting & Treasury to lead board-wide capital account reporting and cash management. You will oversee capital project financial administration and investments, advising senior management on liquidity, debt, and capital grants.

Under the Manager of Accounting Services, you will prepare capital-related financial reports and supervise Financial Analysts while ensuring compliance with ministry directives and accounting

Qualifications

• Proficient use of Excel and accounting systems.
• In-depth knowledge of PSAB and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with payroll processes is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital reporting and treasury functions for capital accounts.
• Review bank reconciliations and journal entries for capital projects.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and investment activities.
• Provide training and direction to Financial Analysts and Senior Clerks.
• Coordinate with planning and design staff to ensure accurate capital expenditures.
