Job summary

Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) seeks a Senior Manager, Construction Delivery & Capital Projects to lead the capital development program. This role directs project staff, oversees design to closeout, and ensures alignment with funding, schedules and quality standards.

The position requires driving on TCDSB sites, strong governance of contracts, risk and cost control, and collaboration with municipal partners. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture, engineering, building science, construction management or related field.
• 7+ years in construction administration or management with budgeting experience.
• Eligible for registration with Ontario engineering or architectural bodies.
• Proficient with MS Project, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe and Bluebeam.
• Public sector education or health experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital construction projects from tender to closeout with scope, schedule, budget and safety accountability.
• Provide leadership, coaching and performance management to project staff.
• Oversee design, tendering, consultant management and approvals.
• Develop performance improvement plans and monitor resource utilization.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and briefing materials for senior leadership.
