Extendicare is seeking a Capital Asset Manager to oversee capital projects, budgets, renovations, and expansions for a portfolio of long-term care homes in northern Alberta, with Edmonton region base and monthly visits to Markham. The role offers a flexible hybrid work environment and requires strong project management and technical knowledge.

The candidate will lead design, estimation, tendering, contract management, and commissioning for projects, coordinating with consultants and vendors

Qualifications

• Requires post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent, plus strong project management experience.
• Journeyman Trades Certificate is an asset.
• Proficiency with building design, mechanical and electrical systems, and blueprints is required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee a portfolio of long-term care homes with capital projects and budgets.
• Direct consultants and manage contractors for project coordination and cost control.
• Provide regular project status reports to senior management and track building condition risks.
