Overview

Capstone, an Alera Group company, is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. Responsibilities
  1. Support the marketing of renewals, drafting and preparing renewal client proposals, as required
  2. Processing of endorsements
  3. Issuing certificates, evidences and ID cards
  4. Maintain and keep current all bookkeeping systems, database and records
  5. Processing Non-Pay Cancellations and resolving billing issues
  6. Providing superior customer support – manage customer needs to a successful and timely resolution
  7. General miscellaneous tasks as required
Qualifications
  1. Preferred - 1+ years Commercial Lines experience
  2. NJ Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required
  3. Customer service oriented – ability to put yourself in the shoes of the customer
  4. Proficient in Microsoft O365 (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
  5. Familiar with Agency Management Systems and Carrier websites is a plus
  6. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  7. Flexibility to adapt to organizational needs as required
