Always Best Care Senior Services - Calgary is seeking a Cantonese-speaking caregiver to provide compassionate, in-home support for elderly clients in Calgary. You will assist with daily activities, meals, mobility, and health monitoring to enhance quality of life in familiar surroundings.

The role emphasizes companionship, safety, and promoting independence. HCA certification, CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver’s license are required, with preference for prior caregiving experience and strong

Qualifications

• Certified Health Care Aide required (mandatory).
• Experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.
• Excellent communication and empathy for elderly clients.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, medication reminders).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning).
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in health or well-being.

Urgent need of a Cantonese speaking Caregiver at Always Best Care Senior Services - Calgary, your primary responsibility will be to provide compassionate and trusted care to senior clients in their homes. You will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for our clients.

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers and medication reminders


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences


• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and cleaning


• Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with mobility


• Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health

Requirements:

• Health Care Aide Certification mandatory


• Prior experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred
