Qualifications

• Safely ascend tree canopies at various heights.
• Minimum 1 year of climbing experience required.
• Certified Arborist or willingness to pursue certification.
• Strong ability to identify trees, knots and shrubs.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Valid provincial driver’s license; 5-ton vehicle license and Airbrake endorsement are assets.

Responsibilities

• Prune, thin, and remove deadwood in tree canopies.
• Install cables, bracing and lightning protection systems.
• Maintain, prepare, and operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts.
• Assist crew with job site setup, debris removal and cleanup.
• Follow Davey safety policies and industry procedures.
