CannaPiece Corp. in Pickering, ON is seeking an Operations Administrator to support our cannabis manufacturing facility.

This detail-oriented role reports to the Planning Operations Manager and focuses on managing and tracking work orders from creation to completion, ensuring cross‑department communication and accurate production documentation. You will generate, issue, and track work orders, verify material availability, maintain records, and ensure traceability for audits in line with SOPs,

Formación

• 1+ year of administrative experience in manufacturing, logistics, or cannabis-related environment.
• Strong mathematical and numerical skills with ability to perform calculations, measurements, and basic data analysis.
• Familiarity with cannabis regulations and compliance (GPP, Health Canada) is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and SmartSheets.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Generate, issue, and track work orders related to production and extraction.
• Ensure all work orders are accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner.
• Issue component numbers and assist with non-cannabis inventory assignment.
• Track the status of active work orders and follow up with relevant teams to ensure deadlines are met.
• Escalate delays or issues that may impact production timelines.
• Maintain up-to-date and organized records for all work orders in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure traceability of materials, batches, and activities for audit readiness.
• Communicate work order updates, changes, or requirements clearly and promptly.
• Confirm material availability prior to releasing work orders.
• Ensure all work order processes follow internal SOPs, GPP guidelines, and Health Canada regulations.
• Participate in internal audits and support compliance initiatives as needed.
• Working with the inventory system to maintain accurate records.
• Other duties as required by management.
