Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Toronto is seeking an Associate in Investment Banking Diversified Industries. You will develop relationships with corporates and financial institution clients and work across mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, loans, and equity/debt capital raises.

You will support capital raises and M&A processes, produce and review deal documents, perform detailed due diligence, and build advanced financial models. Travel domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications

Experience in an investment banking front office role.
Strong financial modelling skills.
Understanding of the transaction cycle and execution.
Excellent communication with senior professionals and clients.

Responsibilities

Support equity and debt capital raises and M&A processes for corporates and sponsors.
Prepare, manage and review documents for M&A, IPOs, and debt/equity issuance.
Analyze corporate/financial information and perform due diligence.
Build and analyze financial models including DCF, comps, and LBOs.
Create pitch books and client presentations on acquisitions and capital structure options.
Mentor and train junior analysts.
Assist with client dialogue and transaction execution.
Develop relationships with existing clients and potential prospects.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
