Working as a Self-Checkout Attendant at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry. This role involves providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience and assisting customers with transactions at the self-service area(s).

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized area, free of fixtures, debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Educating customers on the proper use of self-service options.
• Promoting company programs such as credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives.
• Monitoring customer activity to offer assistance when needed.
• Explaining the reasons for interventions or quality checks politely and reassuring customers.
• Responding to EAS alarms and recording incidents in the 'Failure to Deactivate' Log.
• Calling the Customer Service Manager for cash shortages or technical issues in the self-service area.
• Returning Scan & Go scanners after use.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Age 16 or older.
