Walmart is seeking a Fresh Department Leader/Associate in Winnipeg, MB to assist in leading the Fresh areas and department processes. You will respond to problems, train associates, and ensure high levels of customer service while completing tasks. The role includes merchandising, scheduling, and supporting store operations on the sales floor.

Starting pay is CAD 19.65 per hour with opportunities for growth and leadership development within Walmart Canada.

Responsabilidades

• Provide excellent Customer Service by greeting customers and assisting with products/services, locating merchandise and helping decision making.
• Coordinate daily tasks and priorities with Fresh Coach and Store Management, delegating and tracking completion.
• Assess Fresh Department presentation and merchandising; implement display changes as needed.
• Facilitate strong communication among associates; lead daily Team Huddle, share updates and set goals.
• Review schedules with People Lead and assign associates for coverage and availability tasks.
• Tour areas with Coach to identify training opportunities and develop associates through teaching and feedback.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment; follow company policies including safety logs and proper fixture security.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support Management.
• Collaborate with Coach/People Lead on performance management and growth discussions; assist recruiting and hiring.
• Minimum rate of pay starts from CAD 19.65 per hour.

Position Summary...

Assists in the leadership of Fresh areas and department processes, respond to problems and inquiries, and develop associates through teaching and training. Ensure a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion. Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.

What you'll do...

1. Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
2. Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Fresh Coach and the Store Management Team. Delegate, assist and follow-up on completion of daily Customer Availability process tasks.
3. Assesses the overall presentation of Fresh Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executes merchandising display changes where required.
4. Ensure strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift, and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
5. Review completed schedules with People Lead.
6. Assign Associates to support coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.
7. Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.
8. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.
9. Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.
10. Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates. Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $19.65.
