Job summary

Walmart Canada in Joliette, QC is hiring for a role that supports Fresh departments, directs daily tasks, and mentors associates to deliver high customer service while maintaining store presentation and safety standards.

The position works with the Fresh Coach and Store Management to coordinate priorities, assign tasks, and review scheduling with the People Lead. Minimum age is 16, and training is offered to develop leadership and operational skills in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Fresh Coach and the Store Management Team. Delegate, assist and follow-up on completion of daily Customer Availability process tasks.
• Assesses the overall presentation of Fresh Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executes merchandising display changes where required.
• Ensure strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift, and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Review completed schedules with People Lead.
• Assign Associates to support coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.
• Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates. Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $21.85.
