Position Summary... Working as a Stockperson/Cartpusher at Walmart Canada is a great way to develop your skills in the retail industry. A Stockperson/Cartpusher collects shopping carts from the cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter and returns them to a safe storage location, while maintaining exemplary customer service. What you'll do...

1. Assist in customer service by collecting shopping carts from the cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter, returning them to a safe storage location following Walmart approved procedures, and completing necessary logs.
2. Respond promptly to requests at all registers, assist customers with carry outs or carry ins safely, and verify receipts for proof of purchase.
3. Follow established guidelines for the occasional cleaning and maintenance of restrooms, handling chemicals correctly, disposing of waste properly, and using power equipment with inspection reports completed before use.
4. Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, including hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogens protocols.
5. Maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk.
6. Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies and procedures.
7. Promote safety by wearing personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear and reflective vests during cart collection for visibility.
8. Complete safety sweeps as required.
