What you'll do...

1. Assist in customer service by collecting shopping carts from cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter, returning them to a designated storage area following Walmart procedures, and completing necessary logs.
2. Respond promptly to requests at all registers, assist customers with carry outs or ins safely, and verify receipts for proof of purchase.
3. Follow established guidelines for cleaning and maintaining restrooms, handle chemicals properly, dispose of waste correctly, and operate power equipment safely, including completing inspection reports before use.
4. Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, ensuring proper compliance with hazardous communication protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines.
5. Maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk.
6. Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies and procedures.
7. Promote safety by using personal protective equipment such as steel toe footwear and reflective vests during cart collection for visibility.
8. Complete safety sweeps as required.
