The Pharmacy Assistant assists the Pharmacist in the technical aspects of prescription filling and administrative duties to support patient care and pharmacy operations. They are a key team member delivering excellent customer service.

What You'll Do...

• Receive prescriptions, verify completeness, and assess for regulatory compliance.
• Perform computer functions such as data entry, updating patient information, and processing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Fill prescriptions accurately, prepare products, label, and organize for pharmacist checking, including refills and cognitive services.
• Maintain inventory, check for expired medications, assist with stock levels, and handle pharmacy orders.
• Keep the dispensary clean and organized, support clerical tasks like filing and administrative functions.
• Assist with OTC operations, stocking, and cashier duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Age 16 or older.
