Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a team member to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program while controlling expenses to keep the store clean and safe.

You will clean Fresh Departments, uphold Food Safety standards, inspect equipment, stock supplies, and promote a safe workplace by completing in-store certifications and following company policies. The job is based at 3020 Drinkwater Rd, Duncan, BC, with a starting pay of CAD 18.70 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and colleagues on a cleaning regimen.
• Follows all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Performs timely cleaning of Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and fixtures.
• Inspects maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures supplies are available.
• Supports safe work practices by completing in-store certification programs and following company policies and procedures.
• Cleans floors as required by a system of mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and carpet maintenance.

• 2.Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• 3.Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• 4.Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• 5.Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• 6.When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.70.
