Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp is hiring a Food and Consumables Associate to provide exemplary customer service while maintaining the food and consumables area. You will zone the department, stock, rotate products, and ensure accurate pricing and labeling.

You will follow cold chain policies, monitor temperatures, manage expirations, and assist with ordering, markdowns, and signage. Compensation starts at 16.65 CAD per hour and prior retail experience is a plus.

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
