Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to provide outstanding customer service while keeping the food and consumables area organized and stocked at the Thompson, MB location.

You will zone the department, rotate stock, manage pricing and signs, and ensure compliance with cold chain and food safety procedures. This role starts at a minimum hourly rate and offers growth opportunities within a dynamic retail environment.

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and in the correct location.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.65.
