Job summary

Walmart Canada in Courtenay is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining the food and consumables area and assisting with stocking and sales.

You will zone the department, rotate stock, check expiry dates, ensure pricing and signage accuracy, and follow cold chain and labeling procedures to keep products safe and compliant within a busy retail setting.

• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
