Job summary

Walmart Canada in Calgary is seeking a warehouse associate to unload freight, verify product and counts, and prepare shipments for receiving at the distribution centre (DC).

You will cut shrink wrap, verify content, and match labels to products, assemble pallets to specified Ti/Hi layouts, and move freight to various departments. You will also complete paperwork and uphold safety and housekeeping programs to ensure compliance. Starting wage is 26.40 CAD per hour with safety gear provided.

Qualifications

• Age - 18 or older
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly up to 10 hours per day
• Steel toed safety shoes/boots required on first day

• 6. Maintain associate related programs and procedures, including health and safety and housekeeping programs in order to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and company policy.

Position Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly up to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to have steel toed safety shoes/boots for first day.
• Other safety personal protective gear may be required as appropriate and will be provided.

The rate of pay for this position starts from $26.40/hr.
