Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Calgary distribution center. You will unload freight, verify counts, cut shrink wrap, and prepare pallets for downstream flow of goods. You’ll move items to designated areas and ensure accurate paperwork supports timely receiving.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and wearing steel-toed footwear from day one, with safety gear supplied as needed. This is a full‑time on‑site position at 3400 39Th Ave NE, Calgary.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly for up to 10 hours per day.
• Steel-toed safety shoes/boots required from day one, safety PPE provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight and verify product and count prior to receiving.
• Cut shrink wrap from shipment skids, verify skid contents and match labels to products.
• Assemble pallets according to Ti/Hi and other specifications.
• Transport freight to various departments within the DC.
• Complete paperwork accurately to support timely receiving procedures.
• Maintain health, safety and housekeeping programs in line with policy and law.
