Walmart Canada is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate in Canada to deliver exemplary customer service while maintaining and organizing the Bakery/Deli area. You will assist with stocking and fulfilling deli and bakery orders, ensuring accurate signage and pricing, and following cold chain and food safety guidelines.

The role involves rotating stock, preparing hot and bakery items, and supporting display setup to create an appealing, clean, and compliant shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.

Responsabilités

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and products are in the correct location.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

Position Summary...

A Deli Bakery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the Bakery and/or Deli area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.

What You'll Do
