Job summary

Walmart Canada in Terrace, BC is looking for a Deli Bakery Associate to provide exemplary customer service while stocking and merchandising the Bakery and Deli area. You will zone the department, rotate stock, ensure pricing, and assist with orders and hot food preparation.

Responsibilities include thawing and baking, preparing deli items, maintaining cold chain standards, and following labeling and expiration procedures to ensure quality and compliance.

• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.70.
