Walmart Inc. in Orillia, Ontario is hiring a Deli Bakery Associate to deliver exemplary customer service while maintaining the Bakery and Deli areas. You will assist with stocking, price signing, and handling deli and bakery merchandise, including hot foods and prepared sides.

The role requires adherence to food safety and cold chain standards and involves rotating stock, taking orders, and ensuring shelves are accurately signed and displayed. Minimum age 16+.

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
