Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp in Calgary is seeking a team member to secure high-ticket merchandise, maintain organized shelves, and support remodeling areas. You will set up mods, print labels, and ensure counters are clean while using the proper safety equipment.

In this role you will assist customers, help locate products, stock multiple departments, and follow cold-chain guidelines to protect product quality; some duties involve moving heavy counters with equipment and working around construction.

• Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters according to standards.
• Support remodels while maintaining customer focus and helping locate products.

Job description

Position Summary...

1. Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
2. Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL (where required), installing DSM, and linking mods to DSM labels (where required).
3.Stocks a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments
4. Follows guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.
5. Assists in Shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.
6. Build new counters using kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates as per the print provided by the Lead Specialist.
7. Move counters using the appropriate equipment.
8. Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters in accordance with accepted standards
9. May occasionally working in construction areas, and require steel toes and a hard hat.
10. While executing remodel responsibilities, they consistently demonstrate exceptional customer focus by proactively assisting customers in locating products, answering questions accurately, and ensuring a positive shopping experience despite ongoing construction activity.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.15.
