Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an overnight stocking supervisor to assist in leading the nightly stocking teams and department processes. You will respond to problems, coordinate tasks, and coach associates to improve performance.

You will also monitor department presentation, run daily huddles, secure high-ticket items, and complete required audits. Work closely with the Coach/People Lead to support staffing and training needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Overnight stocking leadership and team development.
• Ability to respond to problems and inquiries and teach/train associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing overnight stocking teams and department processes.
• Assess department presentation and initiate merchandising changes when needed.
• Lead daily Team Huddle and communicate updates, goals, and productivity metrics.
• Ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured and daily audits are completed.
• Review schedules with People Lead and verify staffing needs.
• Identify training opportunities through store tours with coaches and associates.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment following company policy and safety logs.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support store management.
• Collaborate with Coaches to discuss performance and growth with associates; assist with recruiting.

Position Summary...Assists in the leadership of the overnight stocking teams and department processes, respond to problems and inquiries and develop associates through teaching and training.Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.What you'll do...1. Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and the Store Management Team.2. Assesses the overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.3. Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.4. Ensuring all high ticket merchandise is secured, all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completing daily audits as per program.5. Review completed schedules with People Lead. 6. Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.7. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.8.
